Joyce Blessing's new song with D-Black and Kwabena Kwabena

Joyce Blessing has announced that she is currently working on a "powerful gospel song" with rapper D-Black and Highlife singer Kwabena Kwabena. She shared this during an interview on The Afternoon Show on TV3 on September 19.

The Ghanaian gospel artist expressed her belief in collaborating with non-gospel musicians, emphasizing that their talents also come from God. Joyce noted she’s prepared for any backlash that may arise from featuring secular artists, stating, "My victory song was written and directed by Kuami Eugene; I only promoted it. There’s nothing wrong with collaborating with them."

She added, "God has given everyone their gifts, so I don’t see any issue with gospel artists working with secular musicians. My upcoming song with D-Black and Kwabena Kwabena exemplifies this."

Recalling past criticism for collaborating with non-gospel singer Joel Ackah, she noted that fans eventually embraced the song. Meanwhile, Joyce has released her latest single, "Overdo," now available on all streaming platforms.
