Kelvyn Boy Claims Stonebwoy Is Unwilling to Reconcile Despite His Efforts

Ghanaian Afrobeat artist Kelvin Brown, widely known as Kelvyn Boy, has revealed that he and his team have spent the past five years attempting to mend a long-standing feud with dancehall artist Stonebwoy. In a recent interview on Hitz FM, Kelvyn Boy stated that despite their efforts, Stonebwoy has consistently rejected their attempts at reconciliation.

“I have been trying for the past five years to patch things up with him, but there have been no results,” he explained. Kelvyn Boy admitted that he no longer remembers the origin of their conflict and has grown weary of the ongoing situation. “I have even forgotten what happened between us. It’s been five years, and every time I try to resolve our issues, I feel he’s not ready to listen, so I’m moving on.”

The two artists previously collaborated on the track "Na You," released in 2018, which has garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube. However, their working relationship deteriorated in January 2019 when Stonebwoy ended his mentorship of Kelvyn Boy, who was signed to Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group. This split reportedly stemmed from misunderstandings that arose during their collaboration. Although Stonebwoy had the opportunity to renew Kelvyn Boy’s contract, he chose not to due to perceived disrespect from Kelvyn Boy toward the BHIM Nation leader.

While Kelvyn Boy continues to express a desire for reconciliation, it remains uncertain if or when Stonebwoy will be open to making amends.
