"Mahama Will End the 8-Year Cycle of Corruption and Mismanagement "– Sammy Gyamfi Discusses NDC’s Ballot Number

The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, asserted that former President John Dramani Mahama will end the eight-year cycle of corruption and mismanagement in Ghana. His remarks followed Mahama securing the eighth position on the ballot for the 2024 presidential election.

During a segment on Starr Today hosted by Tutuwaa Danso, Gyamfi emphasized that the number 8 represents a crucial opportunity for change after eight years of alleged mismanagement under the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“Number eight is a significant number for us. Our aim is for John Dramani Mahama to break the cycle of corruption, nepotism, arrogance, and economic mismanagement that has burdened our nation,” he stated.

Gyamfi continued, “The number eight symbolizes Mahama’s mission to end the suffering caused by the NPP's governance. Additionally, it signifies our goal for Mahama to serve a second term, completing a full eight years in office.”
