Sam George, the MP representing Ningo-Prampram, has announced his intention to fund a naked protest against illegal mining, commonly referred to as galamsey, as a bold statement against the government's ineffective response to the crisis.
This initiative follows his participation in a similar protest in 2023, where he raised awareness about the detrimental effects of galamsey on Ghana's ecosystems and water resources.
