Blasting on Winneba-Kasoa road leaves about 15 dead.

A tragic explosion on the Kasoa-Winneba road this afternoon has resulted in the deaths of at least 15 individuals and left more than 35 others injured. 

Witnesses indicate that the incident happened during rock blasting by construction crews working on the Winneba road project, causing debris to hit and devastate nearby homes and people.

Residents reported that the construction company usually provides warnings for bystanders to leave the area prior to any rock blasting activities. 

However, the circumstances surrounding the incident on Monday afternoon remain unclear, which ultimately resulted in the tragic event. Some residents are said to have become enraged and confronted the workers involved in the project.
