Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing new allegations from over 100 individuals who have retained legal representation and plan to file civil suits against the media mogul in the coming weeks, according to Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee. During a press conference on Tuesday, Buzbee announced that his firm, The Buzbee Law Firm, in collaboration with the AVA Law Group, has been contacted by at least 120 individuals claiming to be victims of Combs and other associated entities.
Buzbee indicated that some of the upcoming cases will focus on serious allegations, including violent sexual assault, rape, sexual abuse, facilitating drug-facilitated sexual encounters, false imprisonment, compelling prostitution, sexual misconduct, the dissemination of unauthorized video recordings, and the sexual abuse of minors.
Earlier this month, Combs was indicted on federal charges, including sex trafficking, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Buzbee noted that among the 120 individuals represented by his firm, there is an equal distribution of men and women, with 25 of them being minors at the time of the alleged incidents, which reportedly occurred during parties and music industry-related auditions in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.
In response, Erica Wolff, an attorney for Combs, stated, "As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. However, Mr. Combs categorically denies any claims of sexual abuse, including those involving minors." Wolff added that Combs looks forward to proving his innocence in court, where claims will be evaluated based on evidence rather than speculation.
The legal team plans to begin filing these cases within the next 30 days as they continue to vet the claims and gather evidence.
