A photo of Serwaa Amihere casually dressed and in handcuffs, being escorted by two armed police officers, circulated widely, causing confusion and leading netizens to speculate about the circumstances of her arrest.
While some sought clarification, others suggested that it could be a publicity stunt or that the image was part of a music video shoot. In response to the confusion, the police clarified that there was no truth to the rumors concerning the GHOne journalist's arrest, emphasizing that the circulating picture does not reflect an actual event.
According to their statement, the circulating photo is indeed from a music video shoot.
The Ghana Police Service has not arrested Serwaa Amihere. Our investigation indicates that the picture circulating online is from a music video.
