Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, is currently incarcerated after being charged last month with racketeering and sex trafficking. His attorney has stated that Combs denies any allegations of sexual abuse, including those involving minors.
Recently, Combs has faced a new wave of lawsuits from six individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, accusing him of sexual assault. The lawsuits, filed anonymously on Monday in a federal court in New York City, allege that Combs raped women, sexually assaulted men, and molested the teenage boy. Among the plaintiffs are two women identified as Jane Does and four men as John Does.
Currently, over 100 alleged victims are believed to be pursuing legal action against Combs following his arrest for sex trafficking. One of the male plaintiffs, a North Carolina resident, claims that Combs molested him when he was 16 during one of the rapper's infamous white parties in the Hamptons in 1998.
The man alleges that the assault occurred while they were discussing his aspirations of becoming a music star, with Combs reportedly asking, "Don't you want to break into the business?"
The other lawsuits detail accusations of rape and drugging victims to incapacitate them. One of the Jane Does claims that Combs raped her in a hotel room in 2004 and coerced her friend into performing a sexual act on him, threatening to kill both women if they did not comply.
A representative from the law firm representing the alleged victims stated, "We will let the allegations in the filed complaints speak for themselves and will work to ensure that justice is served.
We anticipate filing many more cases over the coming weeks, naming Mr. Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence."
In response to the lawsuits, Combs' legal team asserted that the preceding press conference and associated 1-800 number were attempts to generate publicity. They expressed confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the judicial process, asserting that the truth will show that Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone, whether adult or minor, man or woman.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to a three-count indictment that alleges he exploited his business empire, including Bad Boy Entertainment, to transport sex workers across state lines for recorded sexual performances termed "freak offs." He has been in custody since his arrest on September 16.
