Ghanaian artist Sefadzi Abena Amesu, better known as Sefa, has confirmed that she is no longer signed to D-Black's Black Avenue Muzik label.
In an interview with Accra 100.5 FM on October 24, 2024, she explained that her contract with the label had ended and that she had already been off the label for some time. Sefa mentioned that there were some business misunderstandings and that, although she considered the team like family, things didn’t always go smoothly.
Sefa had been with Black Avenue Muzik for about seven years, releasing hit songs such as 'Fever,' 'E Choke,' 'Shuga,' 'Player,' and 'Vibration.' In 2022, she won the Afrobeats Song of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for 'E Choke.'
Now focusing on her independent career, she has released a new track titled 'All Over,' featuring Camidoh.
