Dr. Louisa Satekla, wife of Stonebwoy, has made a donation to a fan named Samiru Laryea (Bhim Bwoy), who had his hand amputated following a motorcycle accident.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, she visited Laryea at the Surgical and Plastic Unit of the Bu Teaching Hospital after learning about his situation.
Dr. Louisa explained to Joy FM's entertainment journalist, Kwame Dadzie, that "he's a fan who had an accident on Thursday while going about his day, which resulted in the amputation.
We just supported him because he is a big fan." She added that they donated money to cover his expenses, along with packs of water, drinks, and toiletries.
Although Stonebwoy could not be there in person, he spoke to Laryea on the phone, offering encouragement and promising to visit him.
The donation was made through the Livingstone Foundation, an initiative by the musician that provides various forms of assistance to the underprivileged. Reports indicate that Laryea, a loctician, was hit by another motorcycle while he had parked his bike at Korle Gorno to urinate.
