Renowned Ghanaian Islamic scholar and media personality, Sheikh Muhammad Bagnya, has reportedly passed away. The sad news was shared on Facebook by Ibrahim Saanie Daara, a former Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), who expressed deep sorrow over the loss.
In his tribute, Saanie Daara described Sheikh Bagnya as a cherished figure whose wisdom, compassion, and dedication to Islam left a lasting impact on many. “His departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him and benefitted from his service to the Muslim Ummah in Ghana,” he wrote.
Janaiza prayers for the late Sheikh are scheduled to be held at the Nungua Central Mosque today, November 7, 2024, at 2 p.m.
